Bhubaneswar: Registration for Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi’s upcoming public grievance hearing in Odisha’s Sambalpur will open at 11 am on April 17.
In a public notice, the I&PR department said that citizens can register through the Chief Minister’s Grievance Cell portal or mobile application for the grievance hearing to be held in the western Odisha town at 8 am on April 21. A maximum of 1,000 applicants will be allowed to meet the CM during the session.
Earlier, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari had told the media that over 10 ministers along with Chief Secretary Manoj Ahuja and senior administrative officials are likely to attend the hearing to ensure prompt and effective resolution of public grievances.
Similar hearing will also be held in Berhampur. “A decision to extend it beyond the state capital has been taken to ensure faster resolution of grievances and improve governance accessibility for citizens across the state,” he added.
After assuming office, Majhi revived the public grievance hearing, discontinued since 2008, at his official residence at Unit-V from July 1, 2024.
