Mumbai: After leaving cash registers ringing at the box office, the Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is now available on OTT platform for a larger audience.
When the movie released in theatres on December 4, 2024, Allu’s fans went gaga over its content, action and dance sequences. The movie went on to become a massive hit as shows were full even after the fourth week of its release.
However, now when Pushpa: The Rule (Reloaded version) is streaming on Netflix, movie buffs are not so happy with an unrealistic fight scene.
In the much-debated fight scene, Allu, who plays Pushpa Raj, is seen flying in the air and fighting off goons while his hands are still tied with a rope. The lead actor is also seen using his teeth to bite the villains.
A large section of the online audience was left unimpressed by the fight scene.
Netizens started trolling the actor and filmmakers for challenging the law of gravity with this unrealistic fight scene.
A user commented, “Bruh!! We really need action choreographers who respect Gravity & laws of physics. 🤣🤣🤣.”
Another netizen posted, “i couldn’t stop laughing when he straight up launches himself into the air, moves around like a boomerang, and starts biting everybody while his hands and feet are bound.”
Another social media user wrote, “The part immediately before this was worse.. He was flying and biting people and they were all falling down… Its absolute crap.. Probably one of the worst films i saw last year.. That it made 2000 crore and now we are going to see another sequel of this is just horrifying…”
Some even drew parallels with Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (2023) and wrote, “Remember animal were Ranbir was flying a plane 🤣🤣.”
Is this supposed to be a mass heroic scene or a comedy scene?
