Earlier on Friday, Times Now had reported that Sara and Rakul Preet’s name had surfaced during the probe in the drug cartel.
But, the channel was slammed for airing fake news and netizens started trending #SorrySara and #SorryRakul while apologising to the stars for the rumours.
Now, the NCB’s statement had put an end to the speculation and confirmed that Sara and Rakul’s names did surface during the investigation.
