Robbery At Journalist’s House In Odisha Capital

Bhubaneswar: Unidentified miscreants allegedly barged into the house of a journalist at Unit-3 in Odisha capital and decamped with cash and jewellery.

The incident took place in the early hours of Sunday.

According to sources, the miscreants entered the house by breaking the lock of the main house and gate.

On being informed, police officials reached the spot and started an investigation.

There has been a rise in loot incidents in Bhubaneswar in recent past.

On July 26, unidentified bike-borne miscreants had looted gold ornaments from a woman vigilance Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) near his official residence at gunpoint at Kharavela Nagar. Hours later, some miscreants had barged into the house of an elderly woman at N-4 block in IRC village area here and decamped with valuables, including gold ornaments
