Rs 50 Lakh Ex-Gratia For Port Employees In Case Of COVID-19 Death

New Delhi: The Ministry of Shipping has announced Rs. 50 lakh compensation for the port employees/workers  in case of loss of life due to COVID-19.

All port employees including contractual labourers employed directly by the Port and other contractual employees are covered, a PIB release said.
