Rourkela: Officials of the static surveillance team seized cash worth Rs 9.20 lakh from two vehicles, on the outskirts of Rourkela, on Wednesday night.
While Rs 6 lakh was seized from a vehicle near Ambagan Chhak, Rs 3.20 lakh was seized from another vehicle on Kuanrmunda-Biramitrapur road.
The cash was seized in the presence of the local magistrates after the passengers could not furnish a satisfactory reply.
Further investigation is on.
