Rourkela: The authorities of Rourkela Steel Plant (RSP) on Thursday suspended one more official following the death of four contract workers after the leakage of gas in the Coal Chemicals department on Wednesday.
The official, Assistant Manager (Safety) Smruti Ranjan Sahu, was placed under suspension by RSP CEO Dipak Chattaraj.

Earlier on Wednesday, the CEO had suspended DGM (Mechanical), Coal Chemicals Navendu Das and DGM, Energy Management Gopabandhu Barik for dereliction of duty.
