Mumbai: There’s a surprise in store for Saif Ali Khan fans in his upcoming film ‘Adipurush’, which will go on the floors on January 19.
An adaption of the epic Ramayana, the Om Raut-helmed Adipurush will see Saif playing the role of Lankesh, another name for Raavan.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Saif’s is a fearsome character, considering Raavan’s supernatural powers.
To show him as a larger-than-life persona, Saif’s height will be enhanced to eight or nine feet using special effects, a source was quoted as saying.
To be seen in a muscular build, Saif will also sport a thick moustache and long hair.
The film will also feature Prabhas and Kriti Sanon. Manoj Muntashir has penned the dialogues and lyrics of the film.
Saif faced flak for his comment that Raavan will be more ‘humane’ in the film. The actor later apologized too.
