Mumbai: Salman Khan was spotted at Mumbai’s private airport on Tuesday morning amid heightened security following the reported attack on Tiger Shroff.
Armed Special Protection Unit personnel accompanied the actor, with security arrangements appearing tighter than usual amid repeated threats allegedly linked to gangster Lawrence Bishnoi.
The reported assassination attempt on Tiger Shroff on October 18 has raised concerns over the safety of celebrities in the film industry.
Three people have reportedly been detained in connection with the incident, bringing celebrity security back into focus.
Following his meeting with Tiger at the actor’s residence, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had assured that security arrangements for celebrities would be reviewed.
Salman’s latest appearance amid a heavy security detail comes against this backdrop, although it is unclear whether the heightened arrangements are directly linked to the recent incident.
Adding to the concerns, an unverified voice message circulating online reportedly mentions Tiger’s name and contains threats against members of the Mumbai film industry who work with Salman Khan.
The purported message states, “Regarding the incident with Tiger Shroff today, Anil Pandit and Harman Sandhu take responsibility. We had called and warned him earlier, but he failed to understand, so today we made him understand properly. Whoever in the Mumbai film industry does not listen to us or works with Salman Khan, they will be next. Wait and watch.”
The authenticity of the voice message and the claims made in it have not been independently verified.

Salman has faced security concerns in the past. In April 2024, gunshots were fired outside his Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartments. The Bishnoi gang claimed responsibility for the incident.
Months later, in October 2024, politician and Salman’s close friend Baba Siddique was shot dead in Mumbai.
The Mumbai Police chargesheet subsequently suggested that Siddique’s close association with the actor could have been one of the factors behind the killing.
With the latest incident involving Tiger Shroff, concerns over the safety of prominent figures in the film industry have once again come into focus.
