Mumbai: Host Salman Khan will enthral ‘Bigg Boss’ fans once again with the 19th season of the controversial reality show in July.
As per reports, the new season of ‘Bigg Boss’ is going to be the longest-running season of the reality show.
Unlike other seasons, which were of three-month duration, ‘Bigg Boss 19’ will run for nearly five-and-a-half months, Pinkvilla reported.
Usually, ‘Bigg Boss’ premieres in September or October, but this year, it will reportedly start airing from July 30 and continue until January 2026.
Salman’s association with ‘Bigg Boss’ spans over a decade. His unique hosting style has made him a favourite among ‘Bigg Boss’ fans.
After ‘Sikandar’, the actor is currently preparing for a war film based on Galwan Valley clash in low-oxygen conditions.
The film, to be helmed by Apoorva Lakhia, will feature Salman in the role of Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu.
“Given the high-altitude challenges of shooting in Leh and the physical demands of portraying a decorated Army officer like Colonel Bikumalla Santosh Babu, Salman has committed to an intense training regimen. He’s not just preparing to carry the weight of the uniform – he’s carrying the weight of the story. The AK-47 he’ll be seen with is symbolic, but the real test is enduring the thinner air, long shoots, and rugged terrain. This prep isn’t just physical; it’s about doing justice to a national hero,” a source was quoted as saying by News18 Showsha.
“Salman is approaching this role with utmost sincerity. He understands the responsibility of portraying someone like Colonel Babu – it’s not just about getting the physicality right; it’s about honouring a legacy. He’s training not just for the camera, but out of respect for every soldier who serves the nation,” the source added.
