Smartphone makers are launching many a phone model this week which coincides with the Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Spain.

One of the biggest launches for the mid-range market will be the next in M-Series for Samsung, the M30, followed by the Redmi Note 7, which will feature a 48MP camera.

Redmi Note 7

Redmi Note 7 has a mammoth 48MP rear camera coupled with a 5MP secondary sensor. It will come with a 6.3-inch full HD+ display with a waterdrop style notch and will be powered by a Snapdragon 660 processor. According to MySmartPrice it is expected to come in two trims, 3GB RAM+32GB storage and 4GB RAM+ 64GB storage. It will have a 4000 mAh battery and an all-glass body. Xiaomi will be launching Note 7 on February 28 and is expected to be priced around Rs 14,000.

Samsung M30

Following the success of the online-focused M-Series, Samsung is launching the M30, expected to be priced around Rs 15,000-20,000. It is expected to feature a 6.38-inch FHD+ Infinity-U display, with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB of built-in storage. It is expected to come with a big battery just like the m20 (5000 mAh). Samsung claims the new processor, Exynos 7904, is 80 per cent more powerful than its predecessor and supports single-camera resolutions of up to 32-megapixels and up to 4K UHD at 30fps or full HD at 120fps video recording, which weren’t possible with the earlier processor. Samsung M30, launching on February 27, will be Amazon-exclusive to begin with.

Samsung will also be launching its flagship S10 and S10+ at MWC on February 20.

Vivo V15 Pro

Vivo will be launching the V15 Pro that will feature a-first-in-class pop-up 32MP front camera. It will have a 48MP triple camera layout at the rear, one of the sensors being a wide-angled one. The phone will have a Time of Flight (TOF) 3D sensor, which the company claims is the best way for face unlocks. Like other Vivos and Oppos, it will also feature an in-display fingerprint sensor. Some leaks have indicated that it will have a 6.39-inch full HD+ display, 3700 mAh battery and will be powered by Snapdragon 675 coupled with 6GB RAM + 128GB storage. The Vivo V15 Pro could be priced at around Rs 30,000.

 

Oppo F11 Pro will also feature this pop-up camera and is expected to launch soon.

 

At MWC 2019, LG will unveil the G8 ThinQ, which will feature an OLED screen that will also act as the speaker, hence freeing up more real estate for the screen. Telecom giant Huawei is expected to unravel a phone with a foldable display on February 24 there. Nokia 9 with 5 cameras will also be launched on February 24.
