Mumbai: ‘Gadar’ actress Ameesha Patel said in a recent interview that Sanjay Dutt believes she is too innocent for the film industry and he is quite protective about her.
The actress also revealed that whenever she visits Sanjay’s house, she is not allowed to wear shorts or any western clothes. Sanjay adores her and wants to perform her Kanyadaan.
“So this is with Sanju, at his home on my birthday. He is very protective and possessive. When I go to his house, I’m not allowed to wear shorts or Western clothes; I have to be in a salwar-kameez,” Ameesha, who is dear friend of Sanjay, told Bollywood bubble
She added, “Sanju is one person who says, ‘You’re too innocent to be in this film industry. I will find a groom for you, get you married, and perform your kanyadaan.’ He’s very protective and adores me, always ensuring my well-being. He always asks if I’m okay.”
Sharing a picture from one of her birthdays celebrated at Sanju’s house a few years ago, the actress wrote, “THROWBACK WEEKEND… my private birthday celebration at @duttsanjay’s home with only my closest friends and family. My darling @duttsanjay made it so special for me… the most golden-hearted man in the industry.”

Ameesha and Sanjay have worked together in films like ‘Tathastu’ and ‘Chatur Singh Two Star.’
Ameeha was last seen with Sunny Deol in ‘Gadar 2.’
On the other hand, Sanjay’s last appearance was in Telugu film ‘Double iSmart.’ He will next be seen in ‘The Bhootnii.’
