Satish Kaushik’s Death: Farmhouse Owner Releases Video To Refute Wife’s Allegation

Bhubaneswar: In order to clear his name in the death of veteran actor Satish Kaushik, the owner of the farmhouse, where the actor partied last, on Sunday released a video of the event in social media.

In the short video posted on his Instagram profile, farmhouse owner Vikas Malu wrote that his name was being used “in the wrong light”. The videos shows Kaushik wearing a white kurta dancing to a popular Hindi song.

“Satish Ji has been my family for the past 30 years and it did not take minutes for the world to use my name in the wrong light. I can’t fathom the tragedy that happened after our beautiful celebration together,” Malu wrote along with the video clip.

He further said he’d like to “break the silence” and say that “a tragedy is always unforeseen and no one has any power over it”. He also requested the media to respect everyone’s sentiments.

On Saturday, Malu’s second wife had filed a complaint with Delhi Police alleging that her husband was involved n the death of Kaushik. She had claimed that Malu had taken Rs 15 crore from the actor on loan but was not returning it for which Kaushik was upset with him.
On the basis of the complaint, the police have launched an investigation. “In actor Satish Kaushik’s death case, an inquiry has been initiated into allegations of foul play levelled by a woman (wife of one Vikas Malu). An inspector-level officer from the South West district has been asked to probe the entire matter. The woman will be called by police to record her statement,” ANI quoted Delhi Police as stating.
