Mumbai: After 42-year-old Shefali Jariwala’s sudden demise following cardiac arrest, Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat warned fans against the use of Botox or fillers.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Mallika shared a video with no makeup and no filter, and urged people to refrain from artificial cosmetic procedures.
She also encouraged her followers to embrace a natural and healthy lifestyle.
“Good morning, you all. I just woke up and thought, I’ll make a selfie video and share it with you all. There’s no filter that I’m using, there’s no makeup that I’ve put on… I haven’t even brushed my hair yet; this is the first thing I’m doing…” Mallika said in the video.
She continued, “I am sharing this video with you so that we all together can say no to Botox, no to artificial cosmetic fillers and yes to life, yes to a healthy way of living… Love you.”
The caption of her video read, “saying NO to Botox & Fillers. Instead of chasing youth wt these artificial procedures, I’m nurturing it from within. Actress Shefali Jariwala was rushed to Bellevue Multispecialty Hospital in Andheri by her husband Parag Tyagi on Friday night after she complained of chest pain. Shefali was declared dead on arrival.
While the cause of her death has not yet been officially confirmed, initial post-mortem reports suggest that a sudden drop in blood pressure had led to cardiac arrest, as per a News18 report.
According to sources, Shefali was on self-medication, and was undergoing anti-ageing treatment.
