Puri: The Puri administration has clamped Section 144 of CrPC at Kakatpur Mangala Temple to prevent public gatherings in view of Jhamu Jatra of the presiding goddess on Tuesday.
Notably, the daily COVID-19 caseload has spiraled in Puri in the past few days. It saw 226 new infections in the last 24 hours. The district now has 2176 active cases.
