Bhubaneswar: Tension prevailed at Pahala, on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar, after a security guard was found dead with his throat slit on Thursday morning.
The deceased, identified as Gadadhar Swain, was working as a security guard in Sarala Marbles Ltd.

On being informed, a team of Balianta police rushed to the spot along with a forensic team for an on-the-spot investigation.
Meanwhile, locals staged a road blockade demanding arrest of the culprits and compensation to the bereaved family.
