Bhubaneswar: The Trinamool Congress (TMC) has virtually lost its entity in Odisha with the joining of senior leaders in the Congress on Wednesday.
The TMC leaders who joined the Congress are Kartikeswar Patra, Arya Kumar Gyanendra, Saroj Patnaik, Saraswati Hembram, Haladhar Karji and Ashok Samal.
The joining of these leaders is a major development in the state Congress after the party leadership was taken over by the veteran leader Niranjan Patnaik.
