Shah Rukh, Anushka, Taapsee & Sara Among ‘Most Dangerous Celebrities’

New Delhi: According to a study conducted by computer security software company McAfee, online hackers are using the names of popular celebrities to execute scams during the COVID-19 pandemic.

The aim of the study was to identify 10 popular celebrities whose names are being linked with malicious sites and viruses by hackers in India, according to an ABP report.

The top 10 celebrities whose names are being used to target online users are:

  • Cristiano Ronaldo
  • Tabu
  • Taapsee Pannu
  • Anushka Sharma
  • Sonakshi Sinha
  • Armaan Malik
  • Sara Ali Khan
  • Divyanka Tripathi
  • Shah Rukh Khan
  • Arijit Singh

While Portuguese striker Ronaldo topped McAfee’s Most Dangerous Celebrity list 2020, Bollywood actors Shah Rukh, Taapsee, Anushka, Tabu, and Sara were among the other names in the list.

Online activity has increased manifold during the pandemic with people relying mostly on the internet for work and entertainment. And hackers are taking advantage of this opportunity to dupe people.

Thus, experts have been advising people not to surf anonymous websites or click on any unknown link.
