Mumbai: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Thursday took to his social media handle to tease a meeting with football legend Lionel Messi in Kolkata on December 13 at the Salt Lake Stadium.
“This time round not planning my Knight in Kolkata… and hoping the day ride is completely ‘Messi’. See you guys on the 13th at the Salt Lake Stadium,” SRK wrote on X (formerly known as Twitter).
Messi will be visiting India as part of the GOAT India Tour from December 13 to15, visiting Kolkata, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Delhi.
Soon, fans flooded the comments section with ecstatic reactions.
One user wrote, “Sir, you just show up… Bengal’s crowd will take care of making the day truly ‘Messi’!”

On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in the Siddharth Anand directed ‘King’, produced under Red Chillies Entertainment.
The film also stars SRK’s daughter Suhana Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi and Rani Mukerji in pivotal roles.
The film is slated to hit theatres next year.
