Mumbai: Shah Rukh Khan generally greets thousands of fans who gather outside his house on his birthday. This time, the Bollywood badshah didn’t come out to the terraces of Mannat to acknowledge his fans on November 2.
But he did meet some of his followers at an indoor fan meet-and-greet event as part of his 59th birthday celebration.
There was also a surprise for Mumbai Police personnel posted outside Mannat to manage the huge crowd.
In a heart-melting gesture, the actor’s team distributed food boxes to the cops as seen in a video shared by a fan on X.

Shah Rukh took to Instagram to thank his fans for attending the indoor event.
“Thank you for coming over and making my evening special… my love to everyone who made it for my birthday. And for those who couldn’t, sending you all my love,” SRK wrote.
On how he spent his birthday, Shah Rukh said: “I woke up late today because there was a dinner last night. So I woke up and went to spend some time with my little one… he was having his own issues. His I-Pad was not working. Then after that my daughter had a problem. She had some outfits which were not looking okay. The fitting was all wrong.”
He shared how he was busy solving the children’s problems and that he has learnt a lot of patience over the years, being with his family.
Shah Rukh’s wife, interior designer Gauri Khan, shared a picture from an intimate celebration where she and their daughter Suhana Khan are seen together as the birthday boy cuts a cake.
“A memorable evening last night with friends and family… happy birthday,” Gauri wrote alongside the picture.
