Sidhu Moosewala’s Parents Welcome Baby Boy Nearly 2 Years After Rapper’s Death

Bathinda: Nearly 22 months after his tragic death, rapper Sidhu Moosewala’s parents – Charan Kaur (58) and Balkaur Singh (60) – welcomed a baby boy on Sunday.

Sidhu’s father Balkaur Singh shared a picture of the newborn in his lap, a welcome cake with Moosewala’s photo, saying ‘Legends Never Die’, in the background . “With the blessings of millions of souls who love Shubdeep, the Almighty has put Shubh’s younger brother in our bag. With the blessings of Waheguru, the family is healthy and thankful to all the well-wishers for their immense love,” he wrote on Facebook.

The junior Moosewala was born at around 5 am at a hospital in Bathinda.

Social media buzzed with news on February 27, revealing that Charan Kaur was pregnant and expected to deliver a child sometime in March. She had conceived through the In Vitro Fertilization (IVF) method.

Last week, Balkaur talked about the rumours doing the rounds and requested everyone not to believe them. Taking to his official Facebook account, he wrote a post in Punjabi, which read, “We are thankful to Sidhu’s fans who are concerned about our family. But we plead there are so many rumours going around about the family, they are not to be believed. Whatever news, the family will share with you all.”

Sidhu Moosewala was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Jawaharke village of Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022, at the age of 28. It was in the same year that he had contested the Punjabi Assembly Elections on a Congress ticket from Mansa but lost.
