Berhampur: Andhra Pradesh police have seized silver bricks worth over Rs 40 lakh that were being allegedly smuggled from Berhampur in Ganjam district to the neighbouring state in a car.
Three persons were also arrested in this connection near Purushottampur checkpost on the Odisha-Andhra border on Wednesday night. The accused were identified as P Suri Babu, Ijad Govinda and the car driver, B Narasinghamulu.
