Mumbai: Celebrated singer Mika Singh is a good friend of superstar Salman Khan. When other bigwigs of the industry were tight-lipped about Lawrence Bishnoi’s death threat to Salman, it was only Mika who publicly came out in support of the actor.
Now, in an interview with The Lallantop, Mika disclosed a secret of his dear friend.
The singer revealed that the actor likes talking to his friends at 2 am and he also gets upset when people don’t answer his phone call at night.
Mika, who sang ‘Jumme Ki Raat Hai’ for Salman’s ‘Kick’ said, “I had already done the song Jumme Ki Raat for him, but I thought that my voice was terrible in it. Salman Bhai loved it, and nobody wanted to disagree with him. In my excitement, I tweeted about it. Now, Salman Bhai usually likes talking on the phone at 2 am, and he gets very upset if you don’t answer his calls.”
The singer also shared that he had once changed the lyrics of his song in ‘Loot’ on Salman’s request.
‘Whatever song I write, I write according to the film. In that film, the characters were so that I had taken some names but then I changed it when he asked to. I changed the word ‘Katrina’ to ‘Jacquelina’.”
When Salman’s life was at risk following death threats by Lawrence Bishnoi gang, the singer, during one of his stage performances had said, “Salman Khan ke liye ye line hai…Bhai hu main bhai, tu fikar na kar…(This line is for Salman Khan…I am your brother, I am here for you, don’t take stress…)”
He continued the song with some slangs which means, “I will handle anyone who threatens you.”
