Balasore: Two sisters on Tuesday thrashed a boy for allegedly passing lewd comments and harassing them over phone.
The incident took place at Boita Chhak under Srijung panchayat of Remuna block in Balasore district while the girls were on their way to college.
The accused was identified as Babul Behera, a resident of nearby Rampur village.
According to reports, the boy used to catcall the girls and send them obscene messages on Whatsapp.
The sisters slapped Babul and beat him up with their sandals before some locals came to his rescue.
