Six Corona Warriors Among 30 New Cases In Odisha’s Ganjam, Know Details

Ganjam: Ganjam district reported 30 new corona positive cases on Tuesday, taking the district’s tally to 955.

Six of them are corona warriors, with one each from Beguniapada, BeMC, Polsara, Purushottampur, Sanakhemundi and Shergarh.


Among the others, there are nine with travel history — seven to Surat and two to Mumbai. Of these nine patients, six are residents of Purushottam, two of Hinjicut and one of Bellaguntha.

Besides, 15 more active contact cases were reported — Hinjilicut (1), KS Nagar (4), Polsara (2), Purushottam (1), Sanakhemundi (5) and Shergarh (2).

All the affected were shifted to the COVID hospital, the collector said.

With eight deaths and 670 recoveries, Ganjam now has 227 active cases.
