Six Shramik Special Trains To Arrive In Balasore Today, Curfew Extended
Balasore: Six more Shramik Special trains carrying over 3,000 migrant Odias will arrive in Balasore railway station on Thursday.
Thereafter, the passengers will be taken in buses to their respective quarantine centers from the railway station, the East Coast Railway informed.
In view of this, the Balasore administration has extended the curfew period till 12 midnight.
Following which, 24-hours curfew imposed at Balasore has been extended to 12:00 midnight.
Notably, Section 144 of CrPC was clamped in areas within 500 meters of Balasore station on Wednesday for 24 hours in view of scheduled arrival of a special train with over 1,100 migrant Odias from Surat at 5 am on May 13.
Movement of individuals and even essential activities like opening of medicine shops has been remain prohibited during the stipulated period.
