Sky Projection & Cultural Shows Mark 2nd Day Of Ekamra Prakalpa Bhumi Puja In Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Cultural shows, exhibition and other programmes marked the second day of the Ekamra Prakalpa Bhumi Pujan ceremony in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

The day began with the ritual of Yagyan amid an atmosphere of devotion and reverence. The devotees and participants offered prayer on the occasion.

One of the highlights of the day was the mesmerising sky projection, exhibition and projection mapping at the BMC Marketplace. The display that continued from 10 am to 10 pm showcased the historical significance of Bhubaneswar, bringing its heritage and culture to life. Throughout the day, captivating dance performances took the center stage, drawing the appreciation of the visitors.

As evening set in, the lighting of Lingaraj Temple, Bindu Sagar and several smaller temples created a mesmerising sight. The illuminated temples showcased the architectural brilliance and spiritual aura of the ancient structures, captivating visitors and devotees alike.

The projection mapping of the Ekamra Khsetra, showcasing the planned project, attracted many visitors during the day. This model provided a glimpse into the future of Bhubaneswar’s heritage restoration.

In the evening, a soul-stirring Bhajan recital featuring renowned artists such as Abhijeet Mishra, Upasana Sahu, Pandit Niladri Kumar and Mahalakshmi Iyer was organised.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will lay the foundation stone of the Ekamra Prakalpa on Wednesday. It is a visionary project that aims at revitalising Bhubaneswar’s cultural heritage and historical significance.
