Lucknow: A Saudia Airlines flight carrying 250 Hajj pilgrims sparked a brief scare in Lucknow early Sunday morning upon its arrival at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport, reports claimed.
The aircraft, flight SV 3112, had departed from Jeddah at 10.45 pm on Saturday and landed in Lucknow around 6.30 am on Sunday. According to reports citing airport officials said smoke and sparks were observed coming from the plane’s left wheel shortly after landing.

The ground staff immediately called in the Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) team. Working in coordination with the Saudi technical crew, the emergency response team managed to contain the smoke.
All passengers were safely disembarked without incident. There was no disruption to regular flight operations.
An official inquiry into the cause of the smoke has been ordered, reported the Hindustan Times.
