Mumbai: As the first look of actor-politician Smriti Irani from Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ reboot was unveiled on Monday, nostalgic fans said ‘Tulsi is back to rule the television industry’.

Some social media users want the broadcasters to replace Rupali Ganguly’s show ‘Anupama’ with ‘Kyuki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ reboot.
“Tulsi aagyi matlab Anupama ka bura time shuru hogya ab,” remarked one netizen.
Some others wrote, “Anupama ko band karo aur iss show ko 10 pm dedo accha hoga,” and “Replace Anupama plzzz.”
In the first look, Smriti is seen in her iconic Tulsi Virani style, wearing a maroon saree with a golden zari border, along with heavy jewellery and a red bindi.
The new edition, comprising of 150 episodes, will stream on JioCinema’s digital platform.
