Bhubaneswar: Smuggled gold was seized at Biju Patnaik International Airport (BPIA) here for the second consecutive day on Thursday.
Custom sleuths intercepted the two passengers, who arrived at the city airport from Kuala Lumpur, and seized 612 gram of gold worth Rs 22 lakh on Thursday. The gold was found concealed in plastic boxes in the form of capsules.
