Bhubaneswar: The women workforce of Siksha ‘O’ Anusandhan (SOA) have been honoured with the Femina Women Achievers’ Award for 2025.
The Deemed to be University’s women workforce were presented two awards instituted by the leading women’s magazine ‘Femina’ at a function organised here on July 26.
SOA was presented ‘Excellence in Educational Leadership’ award for excellence in education while Prof Neeta Mohanty, Pro-Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Manjula Das, Controller of Examination, Prof. Ruchi Bhuyan, Dean of Institute of Dental Sciences, Prof Pravati Tripathy, Director of SUM Nursing College, Prof Sasmita Das, Dean, SUM Nursing College, Prof. Debahuti Mishra, Head of Computer Sciences at Institute of Technical Education and Research, Prof. Renu Sharma, Additional Dean (Student Affairs) and Mentor of Jaago Prof Anita Panda.
Similarly, the women employees of SOA Group of Hospitals were presented the ‘Outstanding Contribution to Women Empowerment in Education and Healthcare’.

Prof. Gayatribala Panda, Head of PRACHIN, SOA was honoured for excellence in literature.
Women who had excelled in the realms of education, healthcare, art, literature, science, research, business, sports, fashion, social service, films, music, dance and journalism were presented Femina Achievers award.
Bollywood actor Amol Parashar was the chief guest on the occasion who gave away the awards.
