Some People Were Going To Return Their Awards: Swara Bhasker Takes A Dig At Kangana After AIIMS Report
Mumbai: After the AIIMS panel investigating the Sushant Singh Rajput case, ruled out murder and confirmed that the actor died by suicide, ‘Rasbhari’ actress Swara Bhasker took to social media to mock Kangana Ranaut.
“Hey! Now that both CBI and AIIMS have concluded that #SushantSinghRajput tragically died by suicide… weren’t some people going to return their government bestowed awards???,” tweeted Swara, taking a dig at Kangana.
Post Sushant’s demise, Kangana had alleged that the actor was murdered by the ‘movie mafia’.
The ‘Queen’ actress further went on to say that she would return all her awards if her claims in Sushant’s case were proven wrong.
“They (Mumbai Police) summoned me, and I asked them too, that I’m in Manali, that you can send somebody to take my statement, but I have not received anything after that. I am telling you, if I have said anything, which I can’t testify, which I can’t prove, and which is not in the public domain, I will return my Padma Shri,” Kangana told Republic TV during an interview.
The AIIMS panel has submitted its conclusive report to CBI. The report clearly states that Sushant died by suicide.
“We have concluded our conclusive report. It is a case of hanging and death by suicide,” Dr. Sudhir Gupta, AIIMS Forensic Head told ANI last week.
However, Sushant’s family members and their lawyer Vikas Singh are not convinced with the AIIMS report. They have written to the CBI director seeking a separate medical board to look into the case.
