Southco GM Under Odisha Vigilance Lens; 3 Buildings, Farmhouse & 9 Plots Unearthed
Berhampur: Odisha Vigilance sleuths on Tuesday unearthed 3 multi-storey buildings, a flat, a farmhouse, nine plots and other assets during raids on properties belonging to General Manager (Electrical), South Co, Berhampur, Pramod Kumar Choudhury accused of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The assets unearthed following simultaneously searches at 10 places:
(1) Triple-storey building at Sibddarth Nagar, 1st lane, Berhampur town.
(2) Double-storey building at Sashibhusan Nagar, 3rd lane Ankuli, Berhampur
(3) Double-storey building at Haripur village under Gopalpur PS in Ganjam district
(4) Farmhouse at Gaunju village behind Shiva Temple, Berhampur, with a big warehouse
(5) One flat at Pipili in Puri district
(6) 9 Plots in and around Berhampur & Chatrapur.
(7) 54,900 in cash
(8) 1 four-wheeler (Renault Kwid RXT).
(9) 1 three-wheeler.
(10) 3 two-wheelers.
11) Bank & Insurance deposits are under verification.
The measurement and valuation/assessment of these buildings/flat/ farmhouse/plots are being carried out by Vigilance Technical Wing, an official release said.
Besides these properties, searches were also conducted at a house at Lochapada main road near SBI, Berhampur town, a 2 BHK flat at Ambapua, Berhampur, his house at native village Balakrushnapur in Ganjam district, office building of M/s Maa Bhairavi Traders at Lochapada main road, Berhampur and office chamber at Corporate Office, TPSODL, Courtpeta Square, Berhampur.
