Special 3-Day Drive For Vaccination Of Journalists In Bhubaneswar From Tomorrow

Bhubaneswar: A special vaccination camp for journalists will be held at UPHC, Nayapalli, in the Odisha capital on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday.

While the camp will begin at 3 pm on Saturday, it will be held from 8 am to 1 pm for those in the age group of 18-44 years and again from 3 pm – 6 pm for those belonging to 45 and above age group on Monday and Tuesday.

The camp is being organised by the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC).

A day after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik accorded frontline COVID warrior status to working journalists in the state, the BMC had announced their vaccination at a special camp in the city on May 3 at Jatri Niwas, Cuttack Road.

The journalists were told to come with Aadhaar Card and identity card for on-the-spot registration to avail vaccination.

The civic body will also start a special drive for the second dose of vaccination of 18-44 years age group from June 8-9. Persons, who took their first jab on May 3,4,5, will be administered the second dose.
