Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has decided to form a state advisory council for improving quality of education in the state.
Informing the State Assembly during an adjournment motion brought by the BJP on the issue of primary education on Saturday, School and Mass Education minister Samir Dash said the special advisory council would comprising eminent educationists and academicians who will advice and suggest on quality education.
Referring to the issue of the closure of schools due to poor students’ turnout, the minister said these will be opened after getting a go-ahead from the district collectors.
