Mumbai: Penning heartfelt thank you notes for Anupam Kher, Akshay Kumar, Shashi Tharoor, Kajol, Kamal Haasan, Shatrughan Sinha, and Mohanlal, among others, for their warm birthday wishes, Shah Rukh Khan, who turned 60 this year, also asked for a special gift from them.
Thanking Akshay for teaching him to look good and think smart, SRK now wants to be an early riser like him.
“Thank u, Akki, for singing Happy Birthday to me… you’ve taught me the secret to looking good and thinking smart. Ab Khiladi ki taraah jaldi uthna bhi sikhaade (Now teach me how to wake up early like a Khiladi). Ha ha,” wrote SRK.

Reacting to Anupam Kher’s video, which hinted at working on a film together, the superstar wrote, “Thank u @AnupamPKher for the heartfelt video. Big hugs and lots of love to you always. On the work front, Shah Rukh will be next seen in ‘King’, produced by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Arshad Warsi, Rani Mukerji, Abhishek Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma, among others and is slated to release next year.
