Puri: After 12 days, the Lords would return to the sanctum sanctorum of the Jagannath Temple in Puri with the Niladri Bije rituals on Wednesday night.
The Daitapati servitors had performed the Adhara Pana and Garuda Sayana rituals of the Lords late on Tuesday. The Niladri Bije of the Lords would begin after the traditional offering of Rasagolla by Lord Jagannath to Goddess Laxmi.
The servitors in the early hours of Wednesday had performed the Mangala Alati, Mailam Lagi, Tadala Lagi, Abakasha, Gopala Ballava, Sakala Dhupa and Jatrangi Mahasnana rituals.
The Sandhya Alati ritual would begin at 1.30 pm after the Besha Sesha, Madhyanna Dhupa and Mailam Lagi rituals. The Sandhya Dhupa rituals would be performed between 2 pm and 3 pm.The fixing of the Charamala (ladder made of palm wood) to the chariots would be done between 3 pm and 5 pm after the which the servitors would perform the Simhasan Majana rituals.
The Pahandi (procession) of the Lords is scheduled at 6.30 pm after the Pushpanjali at 6 pm.
The Pahandi of the Lords would be completed at 11 pm.
The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration has made elaborate arrangements for the smooth conduct of the rituals.
