Baripada: In a tragic incident, a student was killed and two others sustained injuries after a signboard collapsed at a government school at Badabhundu in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district.
As per information, a group of students were playing inside the school campus in the afternoon on Friday when the signboard fell suddenly. Three students were grievously injured after being trapped under it.

Sources said school authorities rushed to the spot and rescued the injured students trapped under the debris. The injured students were immediately taken to a nearby hospital, where one of them succumbed to injuries.
The other two injured students are currently undergoing treatment, and their condition is stated to be stable.
