Maintaining it is the biggest challenge today, said Odisha Governor Prof. Ganeshi Lal at the inauguration of ‘Legal Spectra-2020’, the four day annual All India Law School Meet organised by the SOA National Institute of Law, faculty of legal studies of SOA Deemed to be University on Thursday.
The four attributes of goodness, generosity, equanimity and peace should be upheld, he added. Quoting Edmund Burke, he said manners were bigger than law, while pointing out that those who loved dharma had been crucified.
Students from several law schools from all over the country are participating in the festival. They will participate in several competitions including moot court and debate.
