Mumbai: With the ongoing farmers’ protest creating a furore across the country, actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol trigged a hilarious meme fest with his diplomatic comments.
Sunny, a BJP MP from Gurdaspur, took to his Twitter handle on Sunday evening to state that he is with the farmers as well as with the BJP government.
The actor further wrote that the matter is between the farmers and the government, and they will surely resolve it soon. He added some people are trying to take advantage of the situation.
“I stand with my party and I’ll always be there for farmers. Our government always thinks of the betterment of farmers and I am sure that the government will ensure the right outcome after holding talks with farmers,” said Sunny.
“I know that many people want to take advantage of the situation and are creating problems. They are not thinking of farmers. They may have their own agenda,” he added.
