Cuttack: The COVID-19 tally in the Millennium City touched 1091 on Monday, with an overnight addition of 87 new cases.
According to the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC), 76 among them are home quarantine and two paid quarantine cases. Another is an institutional quarantine case and the remaining eight local contacts.
Of the 76 home quarantine cases, 57 are the contacts of an earlier positive case. These cases have been detected in the Malgodown area of the city, which is a containment zone. Five more cases have been reported from another containment zone, Old Rausapatna, and 10 from Machua Bazaar.
The lone institutional quarantine case is a patient of the isolation ward of SCB Medical College and Hospital here. Two with travel history to Hyderabad have also tested positive for the virus.
