Sushant Disappeared After He Started Dating Rhea Chakraborty, Says Actor’s Close Friend

Mumbai: Every day, there are intriguing developments and fresh inputs in the Sushant Singh Rajput suicide case.

After ex-girlfriend and Pavitra Rishta co-star Ankita Lokhande dismissed the ‘depression’ theory recently, another close friend of Sushant revealed that the actor disappeared after he started dating actress Rhea Chakraborty.

In an interview with SpotboyE, Krissann Barretto said that she and Sushant were very good friends between September 2018 and April 2019. They were part of a group and all of them used to hang out often.

Krissann revealed that the last time she met Sushant was on April 5, 2019. On that day, Krissann was at Sushant’s then-Pali Hill residence, along with his sister and brother-in-law.

“But then suddenly he cut off from all of us, his number changed and his address changed. And it all happened after he started dating this girl Rhea. We were under the impression that he was very much happy with her and that’s why he didn’t want to be in touch with us,” said Krissann.

She, however, refused to reveal the names of other people in their group as they don’t want to talk about the matter. “Maybe they are scared of getting attacked or killed like him. Secondly, there are people who feel they will be boycotted from the industry and may not get work from the movie mafias. But they all want the truth to come out and I am like, ‘how the truth will come out when people like us who knew him so closely will not speak about it’… I am not scared of anybody. I want the truth to come out even if they get upset and don’t give me work in future.”

Sushant was found hanging from his Bandra home on June 14. Mumbai Police alone had been investigating the case, but once Sushant’s father KK Singh registered an FIR against actress Rhea at a Patna police station, Bihar Police have also been at it.
