Sushant’s Father & Bihar Government Move Supreme Court Against Rhea’s Plea

New Delhi: Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s father KK Singh on Thursday moved the Supreme Court against Rhea Chakraborty’s plea seeking transfer of the case from Patna to Mumbai.

In his caveat, filed through lawyer Nitin Saluja, Sushant’s father requested the court to take a decision after hearing both parties.

“Let nothing be done in the above matter without prior notice to the undersigned,” said Singh in his caveat.

A few hours later, a similar caveat was filed by the Bihar government, through government counsel Keshav Mohan, requesting the top court to hear it before passing an order, according to India Today.

A caveat is a petition to stop the court from passing an ex-parte order in favour of the opposite party.

On Wednesday, Rhea had moved the apex court seeking transfer of the FIR filed against her in Patna to Mumbai.

Sushant’s father has filed an FIR against the actress in Patna, alleging that she exploited and cheated her son, forcing him to take the drastic step of committing suicide.

Rhea was dating Sushant and had been living with him at his Bandra residence. According to reports, Rhea left the actor’s residence 6 days before his demise following a spat.
