Bhubaneswar: Two more persons succumbed to swine flu on Tuesday, taking the death toll to 40 in the state this season. The deaths were reported from Kalinga Hospital and Sunshine Hospital in the state capital.
Meanwhile, five more persons have tested positive for the H1N1. As many as 30 swab samples were sent to Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) for examination during the day.
Of the total 1089 swabs tested so far, 355 have been found infected with the viral influenza, a health department statement said.
