Bhubaneswar: One more person succumbed to swine flu on Wednesday, taking the death toll to 31 in the state this season.
On the other hand, six fresh cases were detected from the 30 swabs sent for examination. So far, 317 people have been infected with the H1N1 virus, said the Health Department in a statement.
Earlier, the state government had issued guidelines to both government and private hospitals for the treatment of swine flu patients by setting up special wards with ventilator support.
