Take COVID-19 Vaccine And Get This Free!

The COVID-19 vaccination process has already been rolled out in several countries, from December-January.

Even as medical experts and vaccine authorities have been speaking about safety and efficacy of the different vaccines which are being used after getting emergency use approval, and despite incidents of adverse reactions are few and far between, many are still not convinced about taking the jab.

One vaccination centre in Russia has decided to think out of the box to lure vaccine takers.

According to a Bloomberg report, the centre at a shopping mall on Red Square in Moscow is offering free ice-cream to those who get the vaccine administered.

Russia has an abundant supply of the indigenously developed Sputnik V vaccine, but just 38% of the population is willing to take it.

“Yesterday we had a queue of 35 people, but the crowds are cyclical and today the weather’s not in our favour,” a doctor at the vaccination centre said.

About 300 people are getting the jab at the mall daily. It remains to be seen if the ice-cream offer increases the turnout.
