Bhubaneswar: Passenger on an IndiGo flight from Indore to Bhubaneswar faced delay after it experienced a minor technical issue while taxiing for takeoff on Monday.
Pilots of the IndiGo flight (6E 6332) noticed a technical snag when the plane was heading towards the runway for takeoff, Devi Ahilyabai Holkar Airport director Vipin Kant Seth told PTI.
The flight, carrying 140 passengers, was scheduled to depart the airport at 9 am and arrive in Bhubaneswar at 10.55 am.
Seth stated that the plane was then brought back to the apron and it left for its destination after engineers rectified the “minor technical snag”. “Passengers were not de-boarded during the repair work,” he added, without giving specific details of the technical glitch.
An airport official noted that the flight eventually departed by 10.16 am.
This came even as an IndiGo flight 6E-146 from Chandigarh to Lucknow was grounded due to a technical fault, affecting 177 passengers.
