Mumbai: After getting a clean chit from NCB over allegations of hosting a drug party at his residence, Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar on Tuesday organized a ‘cosy’ Diwali party for his Bollywood friends.
According to Hindustan Times, KJo had invited only close friends, including Kareena Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Manish Malhotra and Maheep Kapoor, among others, to the party.
This time, however, the host and the guests didn’t share any pictures from the party on social media platforms.
Shutterbugs captured the celebrities making their way inside Karan’s residence on Tuesday night.
Post Sushant Singh Rajput’s death, Karan had been in news for quite some time now, but for all the wrong reasons.
The filmmaker was called out for preferring star kids over outsiders in his films. He was called the face of nepotism in Bollywood.
KJo was also trolled brutally for his controversial chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’, in which he had made fun of Sushant.
An old video of the party thrown at KJo’s house had also raked up the storm as it was alleged to be a drug party.
