Lucknow/Patna/Bengaluru: Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday said ‘new India’ would give a befitting reply to the Pahalgam terror attack. He said the reply would be given in a language that the perpetrators understand.
The UP CM said while new India does not provoke anyone but it won’t spare if provoked.
“I express my condolences to the families who lost their loved ones. There can be no place for terrorism or anarchy in our society. The Government of India’s model of security, service, and good governance is based on development. It is based on the welfare of the poor and the protection of all. However, if anyone dares to breach security, New India is ready to give a befitting reply in the language it understands, adhering to its policy of zero tolerance. Yeh naya Bharat kisi ko chhedta nahin lekin agar koi chhedega toh usko chhodega bhi nahin,” Yogi Adityanath said at a rally in Lakhimpur Kheri, as quoted by ANI.

Bihar, Karnataka starts deportation of Pak nationals
The Bihar and Karnataka governments have begun the process of deporting all Pakistani nationalists residing in the states. This comes after the Union Home Ministry issued an advisory to all states to identify and deport Pakistani nationals, barring certain exempted categories.
“We are continuously working under the directions of the Central Government. We will identify Pakistani nationals living in Bihar and send them back. Under all circumstances, Pakistani citizens must return,” Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary told India Today.
Karnataka’s Home Minister, Dr G Parameshwara, also confirmed similar actions. “Yesterday, the Home Ministry issued an advisory to identify and deport all Pakistani nationals except for some exempted categories,” he told India Today.
“We have issued instructions to the Superintendent of Police of all districts to identify those categories of Pakistani nationals and ask them to leave immediately. I don’t know the exact number. We have taken action as per the instructions of the Government of India,” he added, as quoted by India Today.
