Bhadrak: A day after three more persons tested positive for COVID-19 in Bhadrak, the district administration on Tuesday declared several areas in Basudevpur and Bonth blocks as containment zones.
For contact tracing and active surveillance, four villages of Bonth block, and Chudamani and Kismatpur areas in Basudevpur block have been sealed, sources said.
Three men aged 28, 29 and 45 with travel history to West Bengal had tested positive for the virus on Monday. Two among them are from Basudevpur block and one from Bonth block.
They will be shifted to Ashwini COVID Hospital in Cuttack, the sources added.
With these three new cases, Bhadrak’s affected tally has gone up to 19 and two among them have recovered from the disease.
